Chelsey is a mom, a full time employee, and a full time Chemistry student. Chelsey has lost over 100 pounds with us. We asked her some questions about her time at Okie CrossFit and here is what she had to say.
Okie- What motivated you to start at Okie?
Chelsey- I wanted to try CrossFit after I had tried everything else, and had no luck. I filled out a form for Okie and Jake called me personally and told me what to expect and when to show up, and made me feel very comfortable.
Okie- What keeps you coming back to Okie?
Chelsey- The coaches and fellow athletes keep me coming back. The coaches genuinely care about our success. They are knowledgeable and the owner constantly invests in the best equipment and for us. The fellow athletes are encouraging and welcoming.
Okie- How do you define your success?
Chelsey- I define success, when it comes to fitness, as being better than the day before. Being able to accomplish something that seemed impossible.
Okie- What was your biggest obstacle you overcame?
Chelsey- My biggest obstacle to overcome, was not losing the weight, but being confident in my own abilities.
Okie- What advice would you give others looking for a gym home?
Chelsey- My advice would be to not let your current situation, physical fitness level or age prevent you from trying CrossFit. It is the best decision I have ever made.
