Fitness Hacks – How to reach your goals faster

Over the years in the fitness industry, I’ve learned a lot more than I thought my brain could ever handle. And I’m not even close to being done yet. I want to share with you ways that we have seen people reach their goals faster..

  1. WORK OUT YOUR WHY

The very first thing you should do before you start any fitness program is figure out why you’re doing all this work in the first place. Take a second. Think about it. Because you’re much more likely to push through a tough workout if you’ve got a driving force reminding you why all this sweat and strain is worth it.

If you’re not sure, ask yourself these questions:

  • What are your ultimate goals?

  • What are you passionate about?

  • What does success look like to you?

Write it on a sticky note or save it in your phone notes. It’ll be an important  reminder when you’re itching for an unplanned rest day or wanna go face first in pizza and buffalo wings.

Remember, a person with purpose is a person with power.

  1. IN “SQUAD” WE TRUST

It’s a fact – people who work out with a team see better results than those who go at it alone. As part of a team, your commitment extends from yourself, to yourself and your crew, and that helps keep you accountable.

So take advantage of your gyms’ community. If you hit a weak point during the program, your squad will be right there to get you fired back up.

  1. BE ALL IN

I’m not going to lie to you; some days are going to be really, really hard. Nachos are gonna look awesome. Your bed will reach peak comfy-ness. Happiness may seem unattainable without happy hour. My list of excuses could run on for days, but to reach your goals, you have to be persistent. You are your biggest cheerleader – whether that means rallying yourself out the door for an early gym sesh or giving into your need to veg out on the couch.

Make a promise to yourself right now: You’ll choose the macro-friendly food option. You’ll roll out of bed with your alarm. You’ll embrace the phrase “It’s 5 o’clock nowhere.”

Make the decision every. single. day. You won’t regret it.
